The Friends of the Library are seeking new members to help fundraise and host events in the library.

What Is a "Friends" Group?
The Friends of the Wabamun Public Library is an enthusiastic group of people concerned with the future of the library
They value libraries and the services they provide to the community.

What Do Friends of the Wabamun Public Library do?

Friends may volunteer as much time as they are willing to, in many different types of activities to support the library such as:

• Organize and work at the Annual Christmas Shopping Fair
• Shelve Books
• Help with Volunteer Activities

If you are interested in joining this group speak to Betty or Dianne at the Library.

Since the Friends were formed in 2005, they have contributed over $32,000.00 worth of materials to the library.
These contributions have included: shelving; furniture; update of children's area; electronics; dvd's; and books.
They have also received donations for our garden project and donated generously to that project.
