From Libraries with the Regional Automation Consortium:

  • Use the TRACpac catalogue which has all the holdings from Marigold, Northern Lights and Yellowhead Regional Library Systems. Just log onto www.tracpac.ab.ca and find the book you want using the title or author search then enter your library barcode. The book will be sent to your library as soon as it is available.
  • Ask your friendly assistant at the circulation desk to order the book for you.

From other libraries in Alberta:

  • Search The Alberta Library catalogue at http://www.thealbertalibrary.ab.ca/ and request the book you want. The book will be sent to your library as soon as it is available.

Volunteers:  Did you know that we had over 79 individual volunteers logging over 956 hours in 2008. We look forward to surpassing that number in 2009. Library Board:                                                                                                                                       The Wabamun Public Library is looking for new Board Members. The applicant must be interested in maintaining a first class library in Wabamun.  The Board meets monthly, except for the summer months. They make decisions regarding the overall maintenance and programming of the library.   Talk to Betty if you are interested in this exciting position.

Friends of the Library:                                                                                                                          The Friends of the Wabamun Library are looking for new members interested in helping the library become the best in Alberta through volunteer assistance and fundraising for items needed in the library. Your library card is The Alberta Library (TAL) card. This means that as a member of Wabamun Public Library, you may borrow and return books at any Alberta Library.

A library card is valid for one year. The cost of a card is:

Child - $4.00

Family - $10.00
