Wabamun Public Library is a member of Yellowhead Regional Library. Wabamun Public Library is also a member of The Regional Automation Consortium (TRAC) and of The Alberta Library (TAL). Our participation in The Alberta Library gives our patrons access to 15 million items in over 230 Alberta libraries.
Your library card is The Alberta Library (TAL) card. This means that as a member of Wabamun Public Library, you may borrow and return books at any Alberta Library.
Interlibrary Loans:
If the item you want is not at Wabamun Public Library, we can order it through Interlibrary Loans from another library in Alberta. It sometimes takes two or more weeks to receive these items depending upon the popularity of that item. Patrons may also request items themselves through Tracpac and the item will be delivered to Wabamun as soon as it is available. Just log onto www.tracpac.ab.ca

Lost and Damaged Items will be charged to the cardholder
Borrowing Times:
Videos/DVD’s 1 week
Books/Audio/Kits 3 weeks
Overdue Fees are $.10 per day for each item.

The Wabamun Public Library is a CAP site. The Community Access Program (CAP) is an Industry Canada Initiative created to provide Canadians with affordable public access to the internet. CAP provides funding to help communities establish and operate public internet access sites, know as CAP sites.
Wabamun Public Library has 5 public internet computers and a wireless internet connection available for use by the public.
Printing Services: $.25 black and white; $1.00 colour; and $2.00 for photos
Photocopies: $.25 page
Laminating Services: $1.00 badge pouch; $1.50 letter; $2.00 legal; $3.00 oversized.
Fax Service: $1.00 local number; $2.00 long distance; $.25 per page incoming fax.
